Terms of Use
Effective date: October 19, 2026 · Operated by Music Max Publishing LLC
These Terms of Use explain the conditions for using Music Stars Radio at https://musicstarsradio.com. "Music Stars Radio," "we," "us," and "our" mean Music Max Publishing LLC. "You" means the person using the service or the organization that person is authorized to represent. See also our Privacy Policy.
1. Accepting these terms
By using Music Stars Radio, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. When acting for an organization, you must have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must approve and supervise your use and accept these terms on your behalf. The service is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create an account.
2. Our services
Music Stars Radio provides a 24/7 internet radio station, on-demand listening to tracks, releases and playlists from independent artists, artist pages, an Artist Studio for uploading music, listener and artist subscription plans, community features such as follows, likes, playlists and timed comments, embeddable players, sharing links, and the Star AI website help assistant.
Programming and content availability may change because of scheduling, licensing, geographic restrictions, maintenance, or other operational needs. We do not promise continued access to a particular recording, artist, program, or feature.
These terms do not promise music distribution to other platforms, royalty collection, artist payments, record deals, airplay, or promotional results. Any such arrangement requires a separate agreement expressly describing the service and its conditions.
3. Permitted listening and website use
Listening is available only in the United States, including its territories and possessions. Using a VPN, proxy or other tool to circumvent territorial restrictions is not permitted. Browsing the website remains available elsewhere.
You may access the website and listen through the players we provide, including embedded players on other sites, for your personal, noncommercial use, subject to these terms and applicable law. Free listening of on-demand tracks may be limited to previews; full-length playback requires an eligible plan.
Access does not transfer ownership of recordings, compositions, artwork, or other material. Unless the rights holder authorizes it or the law permits it, you may not copy, extract, download, sell, redistribute, synchronize, publicly perform, or rebroadcast that material. Downloads are allowed only where the artist has enabled them. A sharing link or embed code lets you share or display our player; it does not grant permission to copy the underlying work. Private sharing links must not be published beyond the people the owner intended.
Businesses and venues are responsible for obtaining any separate permissions or public-performance licenses required for their use. Website access alone does not supply those permissions.
Nothing in these terms restricts uses protected by applicable copyright exceptions or other nonwaivable rights.
4. Accounts
When you create a listener or artist account, provide accurate information, keep your contact details current, and protect your login credentials. Do not impersonate someone else or create an account for an organization without authorization.
Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activities you authorize and for taking reasonable steps to protect your account. You are not automatically responsible for activity caused by our failure to meet our legal obligations.
Do not sell or transfer your account without our written permission. We may restrict misleading usernames or profiles that infringe another person's rights.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Paid listener and artist plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis at the price shown on the Pricing page when you subscribe, until you cancel. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals and your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. If a payment fails, we may give a short grace period before limiting paid features. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Promotional or invitation-based trial periods are limited to one per person and may not be combined or resold.
We will give reasonable advance notice of price changes, which apply from your next billing period.
6. Acceptable conduct
You must not use Music Stars Radio to:
- Infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity rights, or other legal rights.
- Post unlawful threats, targeted harassment, discriminatory abuse, child exploitation material, or other illegal content, including in comments or profiles.
- Impersonate an artist or another person, including through unauthorized voice or likeness imitations.
- Send spam, conduct scams, or submit deceptive advertising.
- Distribute malware, interfere with playback, overload systems, or disrupt another person's access.
- Access accounts, systems, or nonpublic information without permission, or bypass security, payment, preview, or geographic restrictions.
- Use bots or similar methods to fabricate plays, chart positions, follows, likes, or other engagement.
- Scrape personal information or extract content through unauthorized automated tools.
- Remove ownership notices or falsely suggest that we or an artist endorse your business or activities.
These restrictions apply to the extent permitted by law and do not prohibit activity we have expressly authorized in writing.
7. Artist uploads and other submissions
You retain the ownership rights you already hold in music, artwork, biographies, comments, and other material you upload or submit. Submitting material does not transfer your copyright to Music Stars Radio.
Submit only material you own or are authorized to provide for the proposed use. Your permissions must cover the relevant recording, composition, samples, artwork, performances, names, voices, and likenesses. You must answer the upload questionnaire truthfully, including questions about ownership, samples, and AI use.
By uploading material and choosing to make it public, share it, or submit it for radio airplay, you grant us a nonexclusive, royalty-free license, for the territories in which you can authorize that use, to store, technically process, reproduce as necessary, stream, publicly perform, and display the material solely to provide the features you selected, including on-demand listening, embeds, charts, and radio rotation. We may allow technical service providers to exercise these rights only as needed to deliver the service. Promotional use outside that purpose requires your separate permission.
This license does not replace licenses or royalty obligations that we must separately obtain or satisfy under applicable law, and you cannot grant rights you do not control.
Uploads may be automatically scanned for copyrighted material and held privately until the scan is clear. We may make technical format, waveform, or volume adjustments needed for playback without materially changing the creative work. Uploads and radio submissions are not guaranteed acceptance, airplay, placement, audience size, or commercial success.
You may delete your tracks or ask us to withdraw them. We will stop new uses and remove material under our control within a reasonable operational period. Withdrawal does not undo earlier authorized broadcasts or uses. Limited backup, legal, and compliance copies may remain as permitted by law; they do not authorize continued public use.
Keep your own original files. The service is not an archival backup facility.
8. Our intellectual property
The Music Stars Radio name, star logo, branding, website design, and original website material belong to us or the applicable rights holders. You may not use our branding to suggest sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement without permission.
Rights in music, recordings, artwork, and other third-party material remain with their respective owners. These terms grant only the permissions expressly stated.
9. Copyright and other complaints
If you believe material available through Music Stars Radio infringes your rights or violates these terms, contact us using the details below. Identify the material, its web address, your concern, and a way to reach you.
A copyright removal notice should include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list of works.
- Identification and specific web addresses of the allegedly infringing material.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Consider applicable exceptions, including fair use, before submitting a claim. Knowingly making material misrepresentations in a copyright notice or counter-notice can result in legal liability.
Where the U.S. statutory notice-and-counter-notice process applies, we will handle qualifying notices and counter-notices under that process. Affected artists may contact us for counter-notice instructions or appeal a copyright hold from the Artist Studio. We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.

10. Content decisions and account restrictions
We may decline submissions, remove material, hide comments, or pause or close accounts when reasonably necessary to address rights disputes, violations of these terms, security risks, legal requirements, or programming decisions.
Where required by law, we will give notice and explain available review options. You may ask us to reconsider a decision by contacting us, identifying the material or account and explaining the issue. This does not limit your legal remedies.
We do not endorse every statement made in music, comments, or submitted material. Contributors remain responsible for their submissions, and we remain responsible for obligations imposed on us by law.
11. Star AI help assistant
Star AI answers questions about using the website. Its answers are generated automatically, may be incomplete or wrong, and are not legal, financial, or professional advice. Do not share passwords or payment details with it.
12. External links and third-party services
Links, embedded services, and artist pages may lead to independent providers. Their terms and privacy practices govern your dealings with them. A link does not, by itself, mean we endorse the provider or guarantee its claims. Nothing here excludes responsibility we cannot lawfully exclude.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. These terms do not provide blanket consent to marketing or to processing that requires separate consent.
14. Availability and warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted playback, error-free operation, or suitability for a particular purpose. Technical issues, internet conditions, and third-party outages may affect access.
To that same extent, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not guarantee an artist's results or the accuracy of every third-party statement. These exclusions do not affect warranties or consumer rights that the law makes mandatory.
15. Limits on liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or lost anticipated revenue arising from your use of the service.
This section does not exclude or limit liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer remedies remain available.
16. Hold harmless, release, and indemnification
By accessing or using Music Stars Radio (musicstarsradio.com), you agree, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, to release and hold harmless Music Stars Radio, Music Max Publishing LLC, and their owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, successors, and permitted assigns (the "protected parties") from claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to your use of the service, your submissions, your interactions with other users, or your violation of these terms or another person's rights. For third-party claims arising from your unlawful conduct, material breach of these terms, or infringement of another person's rights, you also agree to indemnify and defend the protected parties, subject to the safeguards below.
This section applies only to claims connected to the service. It does not release or require you to defend or indemnify any person for that person's own negligence, fraud, gross negligence, intentional misconduct, breach of these terms, or other liability that cannot lawfully be waived or transferred, and it does not prevent reports to regulators or law enforcement or the exercise of nonwaivable consumer rights.
A protected party seeking indemnification or a defense must promptly notify you of the claim, reasonably cooperate, and give you a reasonable opportunity to participate in its defense. A settlement requiring you to admit liability or assume an obligation requires your consent, which must not be unreasonably withheld. Defense costs must be reasonable, and there may be no duplicate recovery under this section.
17. Ending use and changing the service
You may stop using the service at any time and request closure of your account. Closed accounts are disabled immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days. We may suspend or end access for material violations, legal or security reasons, or discontinuation of the service, with notice where reasonably practicable and legally required.
Retention and deletion of personal information are addressed in our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Rights and obligations intended to continue, including ownership, accrued claims, and lawful liability limitations, survive termination.
We may update features or programming. Paid plans remain subject to applicable consumer protections.
18. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms to reflect changes in the service or legal requirements. We will update the effective date and provide reasonable advance notice of material changes, unless an immediate change is required for legal or security reasons. Changes apply prospectively.
Where permitted by law, continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If affirmative agreement is legally required, we will request it. If you disagree, stop using the service.
19. Additional terms for EU, EEA and UK users
If you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the following also applies and prevails over anything in these terms that conflicts with it.
- Consumer rights: nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence, including the statutory guarantee that digital content and services conform to the contract and remedies if they do not.
- Right of withdrawal: you may withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. When you subscribe, you ask us to start the service immediately and acknowledge that, once the service has been fully provided, you lose this right; if you withdraw after using a paid plan partly, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the period used. To withdraw, email us a clear statement of your decision.
- Changes: we will tell you at least 30 days in advance about material changes to these terms or to the price or main features of a paid plan, and you may cancel before the change takes effect without charge.
- Liability: we are liable under the statutory provisions of your country for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and, for slight negligence, for breach of essential contractual obligations limited to foreseeable, typical damage.
- Content moderation (EU Digital Services Act): you may report illegal content to us by email with the details listed in the copyright and complaints section. When we remove content or restrict an account, we will give the affected user a statement of reasons, and you may contest our decision through our internal complaint process, an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under the Digital Services Act, or the courts. Our single point of contact for authorities and users is the email address below, in English.
- Governing law and courts: if you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
- Online dispute resolution: you may also use alternative dispute resolution bodies available in your country. We are not obliged to take part in consumer arbitration proceedings but will consider doing so in good faith.
20. Disputes and applicable law
Contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or exercising legal rights, and it does not shorten a filing deadline.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, subject to mandatory consumer protections and court-access rights where you live, including those described in the section for EU, EEA and UK users. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive class-action rights.
21. General provisions
These terms and any separate terms expressly accepted for a particular service govern that service. A separate signed agreement controls where it expressly conflicts with these terms.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive later enforcement. Except for the protected parties identified above, these terms do not create enforceable rights for third parties.
We may transfer this agreement in connection with a merger, restructuring, or sale of the service, provided your rights are not unlawfully reduced. You may not transfer contractual rights or obligations without our consent except where the law permits it.
